Four core services, one reliable local team. Watch them in ten seconds, jump to the one you need, or ask us about anything else in the garden.

Tree surgeon in safety gear cutting a branch with a chainsaw

hedges, trees & whole gardensOur work in ten seconds

A 10-second film with no speech. A hedge trimmer cuts a box hedge level, a tree surgeon prunes branches with loppers, then a finished garden with a curved gravel path, lawn, planted borders and a new timber fence.

Hedge trimming

Hedges are the frame of a garden. We shape and reduce all common garden hedges so they look sharp and grow back thick.

  • Trimming and shaping of privet, laurel, beech, hawthorn, leylandii and more
  • Height and width reductions for overgrown hedges
  • Straight lines and level tops, cut by eye and line
  • All cuttings cleared, paths and lawns swept

Nesting birds: it’s an offence to damage an active nest (Wildlife and Countryside Act 1981). From March to August we only do light trims, and always check first.

Tree works

Trees that are too big, too close or too dark can be brought back under control safely, without butchering them.

  • Pruning, thinning and crown reductions
  • Crown lifting to let light into the garden
  • Removal of small and medium garden trees
  • Dead and storm-damaged branches taken down
  • Logs and branches cleared or left stacked if you’d like them

Protected trees: trees with a Tree Preservation Order or in a conservation area need council consent before work. We’ll help you check before we start.

Gardeners clearing an overgrown back garden

Garden maintenance & design

Keep your garden looking cared for all year, or start fresh with a new layout that suits how you use the space.

  • One-off tidy-ups and garden clearances
  • Regular visits: weekly, fortnightly or monthly
  • Lawn mowing, edging and weeding
  • Border planting, pruning and seasonal cut-backs
  • New garden layouts, planting plans and makeovers

Regular visits are the easiest way to keep on top of a garden. Ask about a schedule that fits your garden and budget.

New timber fence behind planted borders and a gravel path

Decorative gravel & fencing

Low-maintenance gravel and strong new fencing transform a garden in days, not seasons.

  • Decorative gravel beds, paths and driveway areas
  • Weed membrane laid underneath to keep gravel clean
  • New fence panels, posts and gravel boards
  • Replacement of storm-damaged or rotten panels
  • Gates and finishing touches

Fence heights: in most cases you can put up a fence up to 2 m high without planning permission, or 1 m next to a road. Check your deeds for which boundary is yours.

Frequently asked questions

How do I get a quote?

Fill in the quote form, call us on 07348 426709, or send photos of the job on WhatsApp. For bigger jobs we may pop round to take a look before giving a price.

Which areas do you cover?

We work across North West England, including Wigan, Bolton, Manchester, Salford, Warrington, St Helens, Leigh, Chorley, Preston, Liverpool, Stockport and Bury. If you’re nearby but not listed, just ask.

Can you cut my hedge in spring or summer?

Yes, but carefully. March to August is bird-nesting season, so we only do light trims and always check for active nests first. Heavier cuts are best from September to February.

Do I need permission for tree work?

Only if the tree is protected by a Tree Preservation Order or you live in a conservation area. Your local council can confirm, and we’re happy to help you check.

How high can a new garden fence be?

Usually up to 2 metres without planning permission, or 1 metre where it borders a road or footpath used by vehicles. Listed buildings and some estates have extra rules.

How are your prices worked out?

Every garden is different, so we price each job on its size, access and time needed. Our prices are competitive and agreed with you before any work starts.

Ready for a tidier garden?

Send a few photos on WhatsApp or fill in the quote form. We’ll come back to you with a clear, competitive price.
